Waiting in Expectation
"In the morning, O Lord, you will hear my voice;
in the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch." ~Psalm 5:3 ~
What are your first thoughts in the morning? Does your mind rush to the things you have to accomplish this day or do your thoughts turn to prayer? As you begin your day, let your thoughts turn to God in prayer. We can pray anytime and we should always be in an attitude of prayer for everything. As you pray for your children, develop this attitude of praying always. We are in constant spiritual warfare and need to be ready for battle. [Ephesians 6]
It is important for our own spritual development to have a private prayer time with the Lord each and every day. However, we can pray while we're going about our daily tasks as well. When we pray, we must believe that God will answer and wait eagerly and with expectation of His answer to our prayers. He is waiting to hear from us and He is willing to answer.
Attune your heart to God's Begin a prayer regimen today, remembering God is on our side and He will perform great things for our children as we petition Him on their behalf.
