While you are working on the spring cleaning of your home, consider a spring cleaning of your heart. No matter how hard you try to keep it clean, dust still settles on the delicate surface of your heart, and often gets buried deep inside.

Take a close look at your heart through the mirror of God's Word. (James 1:23-25) What do you see reflected there? If it is anything but pure and clean, take time to scrub it and dig out the clutter that has gathered there over the winter. Ask God to help you cleanse your unclean heart and renew it, like you renew the unclean state of your home each spring.

The Lord will cleanse you and renew you and make you a pillar of faithfulness as you follow His Word and His will for your life.
