"You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance." (NASB)

Have you ever wanted to hide; to get away from the circumstances of life? The feeling can be overwhelming. You ask, where can I go to get away from all the troubles of life? As you look around, you don't see any place to go. There seems to be no escape.

There is a place you can go when you feel overwhelmed and troubled. Go to Jesus. He will hide you in His arms and comfort you. He will be your hiding place.

This passage tells us He will preserve us from trouble. This does not mean that trouble will not come to you, but that He will go with you through the trouble. Though God's children are saved by grace, He does not promise a life free from trouble. He does however, promise that He will help you and even make a way for you to escape trials. [1 Corinthians 10:13] The Lord will go with you through any situation that He allows you to endure. He won't leave you alone. [ Hebrews 13:5b]

Read and study God's Word daily. Obey what the Bible says and you will have comfort for your difficult times. Pray and give all your heartache to God. He already knows your pain. Talk to Him about it and let Him work out the difficulty.

God does not desire for His children to hurt, but He knows it is sometimes necessary for our growth as His child. Go to Him today and lay your burden on Him. He knows better then you do what is best in each situation of your life, for He knows the outcome.

Spend time reading and internalizing His Word. Like the Psalmist, hide in the solace of Christ. He wants to take care of you today.
