What Makes a Good Christian?

Light

What makes a good Christian is to believe that God is our very good friend so that by his grace we may become His heirs. We can also read our Bible and pray each day, so that we might become better Christians by God's love.

The Bible says in Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God”. An example to describe this Bible verse is that when an arrow goes to a target, the arrow lands on the ground instead of at the target, which means the arrow falls short to the ground. If this Bible verse never existed or if we had sinned zero times then the arrow would go straight to the target.

Prayer time and Bible reading aren't the only ways we become good Christians; asking Jesus to be our Saviour and asking Him into our hearts is the only way to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior. When we read a Bible verse and pray each day, not only do we become better heirs, but we also memorize and hide His Word in our hearts. If you'd like to ask Jesus into your heart, then you should speak to your parents or your pastor about it.
