We still have to wait in line at restaurants, grocery stores and the ATM machine is usually slower than we would like or out of money. Waiting is something we loathe. We are too busy to stand around and waste time. There seems to be no place to do business that is not a waiting game.

Perhaps we should slow down and enjoy the scenery, but on days when the scenes go flying by the window, there is one place we can go to get speedy service.

He hears us before we call on Him in prayer. He knows our heart and our need and is poised and ready to answer us. His answer may come before the words leave our lips. Let us not be surpised by our Lord's speediness in granting our requests. As our Heavenly Father He loves to care for His children, just as we love to care for our children.
